Yep, that did the trick,
I renamed everything that turn up with the name "banner" in the parsed HTML, and immediately the problem was solved! This brings back memories from the time I never heard of PHP, and created websites with FrontPage. I had similar problems, but they were caused by images with coincidently the same sizes as banners. I totally forgotten all about that.

I remembered because I had the same kind of problem with the Smoothgallery module.

My FF "AdBlock Plus" filtered the url's to the resizer interface. So the images would not show whenever I used the resize option.

I'm happy that it solved your problem.
