Hi Friends,

Iam a designer by profession and is new to the concept of WebsiteBaker.I had experiences   in CMS like Joomla and Zencart.My Client asked me to design a website on WebsiteBaker.

A start page to select three main site they wat to visit and,
three separate designs for those sites.

I want to know 2 things:

If these three sites require separate installations of WB(in their respective folder),
A starter page without wb linking to the specified folders

Or all in one?

Please help :-(

Both can be done.

Separate installations would be advised if you need different admin access (multiple administrators).

A single installation can use the "intropage" for selecting the sub-site. This is commonly used in multilingual sites.
For choosing the template to use it is possible to select a template per created page or (for bigger sites) it is possible to use PHP code to select the used CSS in one template or even the template to use.

Both methods are very often discussed on this forum. So you should be able to find out more about possible pro's and con's.

I created a multi-template Site once.
There is no need for multiple installations of WB-CMS.
The Big Deal about this small but capable CMS is, that you can (if you want) set diffrent Template for every single page.  :wink:

In this (german) example I used 3 Templates:
1) for the Startpage
2) for the KIDS CORNER
3) for the rest

You will soon find more about WB. Sooner as you imagine. This is the Best Tool for Designers I have seen.

Which part do yuo need help / turotials for? The Design or how I made the multi-template working?

Hmm.. I'm not a magician  :roll:
Learnd for long time till was able to put all the puzzles together, you see.

I must know more about what kind of project your're working on, what kind of design, which purpose etc.
