Old HTML site moved into WB2.7
kct-networx:
Hi all,
it was a lot of work to put our Interest-Group Homepage from 1999 into WebsiteBaker.
It was really old HTML stuff, which was written in really out-dated syntax....
But now it is done!
I had to edit the template a hundred times, because i want the page to appear as it was before in HTML-only.
I hope you like it!
The website is currently avilable in German only!
Here we go: http://www.kreidler-ig.de or http://kreidler.selfhost.de
Please let me know what you think about it!
I like to hear from you!
Regards,
Markus

Well,
unfortunatelly you have decided to keep the layout from 1999. Hence your site looks very out dated.
Also a lots of markup errors are reported.
Things like counters and spinning email buttons gives the impression that the content on your site is is from the same periode and hence easily considered not to be up to date.Personally I would try one of the templates posted on the addons site. Some of them are really nice.

Hello, on first link I get page on frames: http://www.kreidler-ig.de/ , looks like you didn`t set domain to your server which should be done because when search engine spiders visit your website, they don`t see it.
I don`t really care how website look like if I understand how to navigate on it and I find there information about what I`m looking for.
Regards, Grzesiek.
kct-networx:
Thanks for your opinion Christian.
Seems to be still a lot of work to clean up the "markup errors".
I don't know what is more worse for an website about Motorcycle Oldtimer:
The current "out dated" design or one of the top modern templates of WB!
I think a modern style is not the solution for every content, don't you?
Regards,
Markus

Hi Deschek,
you are right!
There is still a frame generatet by http://www.kreidler-ig.de.
Many years ago we ordered this domain from a provider for free.
We try to get the domain back, to manage it on our own.
But as long as the old provider own it, i have no chance to edit it.
The provider has set a static link to our selfhost adress and is using frames
It is too bad! :x
Regards,
Markus
