Error at deinstallation and re-installation of a template.
« on: June 14, 2008, 11:58:15 PM »
Hello,
I have to deinstall a template and reinstall it in WB 2.7.
I have a error during deinstallation. Error is: "Deinstallation impossible: Template is in use. "

I had installed and edited a template and allocated it to a side.
Then I have assigned another template to this side. I have deleted this side. And I have reloadet the Add-ons (Admin tools).
But it is impossible to deinstall this template.
Is this a general error, or an error from template "waterandstone_green"?
Or is the reason the editing of the template?

Thank you!

Hello,

please read the documentation available before posting in the forum: http://help.WebsiteBaker.org/
At least one page is assigned to the template you want to delete, thats what the message says: template in use.

Hello Christian,

I read the rtfm. I wrote: "Then I have assigned another template to this side. I have deleted this side".
I meant, that I disassigned this template first from this site and assigned another template to this site. And then I deleted this site.
But i have allways this error during deinstallation.
I have several errors with this template then others.

Hello,

if the message comes, that this template is in use then you have to check where it is in use. Possible places are the options of the WB (where you can define a default template) or at the settings of every page.

Hello Matthias,
but this template isn't in use. Not in any site, not in the options.

Greetings

Hello,

are you shure?

The error message says that in your database there seems to remain an entrie wich points to this template. Check your database.
